Andrea Goodman

Andrea joined ScotiaMcLeod in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry.

Andrea is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors in Business and Economics. She is a licensed Life Underwriter, has her Options trading license and has achieved the Professional Financial Planner designation. Andrea, with Renaldo, assists clients in mapping out their future goals by developing individual financial plans. She also plays an integral role in maintaining and reviewing client investment portfolios.

Recently Andrea completed the Financial Divorce Specialist Designation. She works with clients, lawyers, mediators and other professionals to review and analyze all possible scenarios when it comes to divorce and splitting assets. The traditional 50/50 division of assets can often have unsatisfactory outcomes. Andrea will help to analyze child & sposal support, cash flows as well as division of assets to provide clients with some insight as to what after divorce can look like.

A single mother of two young children, Andrea enjoys being an active member of the Kanata community. When she isn’t working or spending time with her kids and their large dog, Ozzy, Andrea can often be found teaching fitness classes or volunteering her time with various community organizations. Additionally, Andrea is a co-founder of the ScotiaMcLeod Annual Tug of War, an event that raises funds for Roger’s House.
